Designing a House in Guyana - Alternative Option

A little while back I wrote a post about a preliminary designs for a house in South America (http://creativemindsgroupworkshop.wordpress.com/2012/08/03/designing-a-house-in-guyana-preliminary/). Since then, the workshop has provided the client with a second design alternative, with a very similar layout, except now a more singular massing form. We did did tweak a couple things, like the location of the gym and entertainment area, and added a cabana, but for the most part, a very similar concept. Please take a look at the two and let us know which you prefer!

Designing a House in Guyana - Preliminary

The workshop has been busy lately with exciting projects going on all over the world!!! Right now, we have exciting projects going on in Long Beach Island NJ, the British Virgin Islands, and Guyana!! Here is the preliminary design for a house in Guyana and, while the next phase of design will likely change the aesthetics considerably, we still think this is a nice house.
