The Master Plan Comes Together

Here's an update to an earlier post, Master Planning for the Loner (http://edgorleski.blogspot.com/2011/02/master-planning-for-loner.html). With only 5 days left until our final presentation, the Precinct K team has pulled everything together and are looking forward to designing the actual buildings in our precinct. Here's a video of the group's collective efforts... it's also my first foray into the world of 3D animation...

March 7 - Long Beach Island - Jersey Juice!!!

The surf was firing yesterday. Unfortunately, the air temp was in the low 30s and the water wasn't much better. Ten years ago, I would have taken a sick day, struggled my way into 5 mil of head to toe rubber and spent two hours paddling against the current until there were icicles under my nose and I couldn't feel my arms anymore. I guess those days have been put astern...  Yesterday, I played the part of the responsible adult and went to my morning meeting, spent the afternoon in the office, then went to class at night... while epic, empty barrels called my name from across the state.

Stupid responsibility.
